A desert muse in black and white

Silhouetted against the backdrop of the barren and dusty desert land, photographer Morten Quale takes model Britini Stanwood and creates a black and white photoshoot fuelled with the passion and belligerence that resides within the eyes and mind of a bold woman.

Swarming with spunk and etched with emotion Quale follows his usual recipe in his fashion shoots of clarity and intensity. Working with stylist Michael Dye, who maps out an elaborate display of different fashion styles, the shoot focuses on pairing print detail with solid, monochrome colours and adorning them with vivacious accessories of spiked stilettos, fur gloves, reflective sunglasses and elaborately sculpted necklaces.

Quale and Dye are an insatiable pair, who accent the attitude within and the racy fashion on the outside. For more of this desert tale from Morten Quale and Michael Dye (www.michaeldye.co.uk) click on the gallery.

Born into the humble town of Franschhoek, South Africa it was little wonder that Chevaun Roux would find her flavour in life through good food, good wine and stylish apparel. After completing a Bacherlors Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics the world of freelance writing became the first choice in occupation, with no regrets and having never looked back. With a zest for anything with colour, vibrance and essence she found herself diving further into the world of fashion and design; from thifting vintage wedding dresses to pouring through new and modern jewelry pieces. This self anointed bohemian indentity believes in all the partisan revolutionary ideals of love, beauty and freedom, and when she isn’t writing or editing you can find her at the kitchens helm creating her latest milkshake masterpiece.
