Yes, vanity and self-indulgence, two notions in fashion that simply call for all things pretty, all things shiny, the glittering and the over-embellishment of true fashionable flavour. Photographer Toufic Araman creates an astounding collision of mirror, reflection and colour in this spectacular display of narcissistic beauty, clothes and accessories.
Stylist, Mandi Kingsburry, uses print upon print, colour upon colour and combines collections to blend and blur into one another to produce one phantasmagoric outfit after the next. Hair and make-up (done by Shin Shindesu) follows suit – with electric orange hair and pastel coloured eye-shadow. The beauty in this shoot lies within its ability to boast out each collection in the cloning and repetitive illusion created by mirrors.
