With big names attached, the second issue of 25 magazine is understandably receiving a lot of attention. There are the names behind the scenes, not the least of which is Anja Rubik who founded 25 magazine along with now-husband Sasha Knezevic. Then there are the names of those in front of the title’s lens, Abbey Lee Kershaw receiving all the attention. And it’s a pairing of Rubik and Kershaw that leads the second issue of 25 magazine.
But it’s not a pairing as you might expect. While we’re all familiar with seeing Anja Rubik besides the likes of Abbey Lee Kershaw, for 25 magazine‘s lead pictorial Kershaw serves as model while Rubik serves as fashion editor. And it’s behind the lens of Santiago & Maruicio that Rubik remains, directing little in the way of clothing but much in the way of style. That style continues where 25 magazine left off after their Spring 2010 / Issue #1 debut: laced with nudity but with far less evocation so far.
