Cool, sporty, and with an effortless edge. That’s the essence of Alexander Wang, whose spring 2012 collection opened with a laser-cut mesh jacket and mini skirt, and then carried on the sporty perforated mesh theme until an update on surfer hibiscus print took over. The collection culminated in more feminine shapes – constructed of leather and sheer fabric – that will no doubt satisfy Wang’s cool-girl clientele.
