Here’s something I’ve observed while walking down the street: carry a bunch of flowers and you’ll receive infinite amounts of attention from male passersby. Why? Aside from making one look desirable, I can only theorise that the beauty of the flowers somehow compounds the beauty of any woman in their vicinity. In carrying a delicate rose, you become a delicate rose.
The same is true in editorial. A beautiful woman in lingerie is, needless to say, one of those visual treats that reliably draws the eye. Add in flowers and, well, it can only get better.
Antony Nobilo‘s latest work for Remix Magazine is an abundance of floristry and feminine beauty. But far from being on the boring side of pretty, Nobilo’s shadowy photography and the short haircut of model Alys Hale (cooly styled by Enzo Volpe) lend the photos an edgy vibe.
Styled by Greta Van Der Star into gorgeous lingerie pieces from the likes of Elle McPherson, Stella McCartney and Lonely Hearts, you can check out the full shoot at the gallery.
