Fashion lessons (and music) from Anna Dello Russo

“Fashion is always uncomfortable,” declares Anna Dello Russo in what seems to be a set of fashion commandments. But these are commandments that don’t find themselves etched into stone – rather they’re proclaimed from the mountain top of giant gold shoe and carried forth on a wave of euro techno beats. Oddly the clip – a (sort of) song titled ‘Fashion Shower’ – is not too dissimilar in style, strangeness and surrealism to Gaultier’s 1988 music video. Only this one is promoting Dello Russo’s ‘over the top’ accessories line for H&M.

One thing is for sure: Dello Russo knows how to have fun with fashion.
