For the lust of lace

The whiteness of light and the darkness of lace are combined in this stimulating and tantalising fashion shoot by photographer Dave Fransen. With the consistent use of black lace Frasen creates a shoot that is all of that which is wild, expressive and introspective.

Antje Reitsma (model) seems to be absorbed, taken in by her own thoughts, sitting within moments of reflection. Frasen takes advantage of these introspective moments by capturing them in delicate and completely monochrome apparel, with each piece perfectly sculpting and showing off the figure beneath it. The use of black lace, done by stylist Sylvia Harding, is not necessarily to show off this fashion in particular, but rather to create a sense of seduction and reflection that this kind of clothing can evoke.
