Did he who made the lamb make thee?

Nestled in the panoramic farmlands of this age old world, photographer Kasia Ratajczack creates a dramatic and beguiling fashion shoot with the combined elements of human influence and the forces of nature.

The fashion within this shoot is deeply feminine, with emphasis placed on upon the subtle and sensual parts of the body: the nape of a neck, the curve of a breast, the length of the body. The classic colours of black and white feature in full-length dresses, flower ring accessories and sophisticated bohemian designs. Model, Weronika Kryszak, plays the role of an elegant maiden, her darkly accented eyes and blushing cheeks (done by Bartek Osowczyk) create the impression of a damsel of coquettish intent, with a certain darkness that lies within.

Ratajczack makes exceptional use of depth and magnification within the shoot, creating focus on not only the exquisite forms of Weronika Kryszak, but also of the breathtaking setting where in the shoot has been taken. There is a certain drawing power that comes from Kryszak, sending you into not only a world of designer fashion but allows you to get lost in the secret story behind her eyes.

Born into the humble town of Franschhoek, South Africa it was little wonder that Chevaun Roux would find her flavour in life through good food, good wine and stylish apparel. After completing a Bacherlors Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics the world of freelance writing became the first choice in occupation, with no regrets and having never looked back. With a zest for anything with colour, vibrance and essence she found herself diving further into the world of fashion and design; from thifting vintage wedding dresses to pouring through new and modern jewelry pieces. This self anointed bohemian indentity believes in all the partisan revolutionary ideals of love, beauty and freedom, and when she isn’t writing or editing you can find her at the kitchens helm creating her latest milkshake masterpiece.
