When traces of snow scatter the pavement and the temperature refuses to creep above zero, the thought of stepping outside in the ongoing crop top trend doesn’t exactly appeal. But just to prove it can be done (especially practical when you’re running between shows and not choosing to loiter in the cold air) leave it to an off-duty model in New York to provide this example:

Layers, a knit scarf and parka provide the warmth necessary to negate the cropped top. And if all else fails, there’s always the spare sweater tied around the waist.
