Bondi nights: the wind in her hair, the pavement under her feet

Bondi has it’s own mood on a balmy Friday night. The soul of a beachside city awakens and radiates from everything: the still-warm pavement, the leafy trees, the brightly painted walls. In Kelly Defina’s latest shoot for Fashionising.com, gorgeous fresh face Baylee soaks in the surroundings and becomes a part of them. This is the place where a sporty bikini doubles as streetwear without ever looking out of place – especially if you have legs as long as the night; where a t-shirt and wedged sneakers can be enough to constitute a day-to-night change in uniform; where hair is best left to float free and play games with the wind.

Baylee’s beachy hair and dewy, sun-kissed makeup, both by Paul Blanch, are the perfect accompaniments to her young beauty and adventurous spirit as she explores the corners of this laid-back town. Why stay indoors when the night air awaits you and the streets are calling your name?

Featuring striking summer swimwear pieces by N.L.P alongside accessories by Marc by Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu and Witchery, you can view all of Kelly Defina’s (kellydefina.com) shoot of Baylee Soles (@ Chadwick Models) by clicking on the gallery.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
