We’ve seen a lot of the baroque fashion trend amongst our autumn / winter coverage, but less of it amongst our spring / summer 2012 and trans-seasonal coverage. And yet in the Southern Hemisphere, where it’s now Summer, baroque sits amongst the season’s trends.
Worn trans-seasonally, this particular street style interpretation of baroque mixes the trend’s European sensibilities with a Mandarin collar. The combination of both cultures is a large part of what makes this look work, even as the overall black and gold tones dominate the Chanel clutch and leopard print pumps.
