If you were to Google Natalie Tusznio, you would find the usual photos one might find when doing some research on a fast-rising model: a few minimalist shots, a certain amount of portraits, and a wide range of cover and features for beauty magazines. However, photographer Christin Gilbert has decided to let the tiger out by encouraging the model to bring out her “dark side, her alter ego or her second self”.
In this compelling photo shoot, Natalie Tusznio and Nicole Tusznio raided Natalie’s closet, un-ravelling marvels of the black, leather and vinyl persuation in order to represent the theme.
The entire editorial was based from everything Natalie owns that represent her dark self. Christin wanted to see her coming from the dark as a strong, sexy and and craving more of her desire.
This was illustrated by strong poses with sharp angles, lustful expressions and a deamonic use of the model’s beauty. Makeup artist Vanessa Mills added darker shades of shadows to accentuate Natalie’s intense eyes and strong brows.
