Women have the ability to reveal one side of themselves more than another at any point. Sometimes they are quiet and soft, innocent and shy, other times they can be loud, crazed, in charge and having fun. But it is the more seductive side of a woman that allows the viewer to truly understand the power that lies within the simple glance of the eyes, or the subtle parting of lips, the curling of a woman’s fingers through her hair.
Woman are figures of temptation and irresistible allure, Bernard Gueit (photographer) captures the true value behind the female form using a multitude of different poses and expressions. Gueit manages to harness the inner-most seduction of the female expression and allows the viewer to be pulled into what the entire fashion shoot represents. Gueit brings out the shapes and shadows indigenous to the environment and architecture seen in Melbourne, Australia.
Hair and make-up, by Kate Fletcher, is done with this entire look of desire in mind: from elegant up-do’s and blown out curls, to sodden hair clinging to the models face. Make up is also done with the intention of creating focus on all the right features of the face: dark and seductive eyes, deeply toned cheekbones and plump red lips.
The fashion in this photography shoot (as styled by Andrew Zumbo) covers a whole range of styles and materials, from leather tops to sheer silken pants, making use of all the looks: cut-out clothing, brushstroke prints, crop tops and striking accessories. The overall effect of the shoot is striking and contagious – allowing one to not only view a range of fashion trends but also to glance an insight into female allure and seductive repose.
