Can you ever tire of looking at beautiful couture gowns? It doesn’t matter if a million intricately beaded, fairytale inducing gowns have come before them: the right couturier can find ceaseless ways to wow, even if their work maintains a strong sense of the classic.
Steven Khalil’s bridal campaign for spring 2014 is filled with those things that are classic and elegant without being overdone. Appliquéd white gowns whose skirts trumpet out with inaudible fanfare or fall into a perfect puddle of creamy elegance at the wearer’s feet… And for the unconventional bride, or the bride-in-white’s guests, slick jumpsuits or a thigh-slit gown of shimmering gold.

Khalil’s campaign culminates in a pair of midnight blue sequinned gowns of ultra-glamorous magnitude. Just don’t show up as a wedding guest in one of these: you’d be guaranteed to upstage the bride.
