A summer scene complete with Doutzen Kroes, beach & fantasy male

H&M’s High Summer campaign is the kind that tugs at you with more than fashion: it gets to the heart of desire, of what a gorgeous summer holiday on the beach (complete with fantasy male, played by Tyson Ballou, to give you shoulder rides along the beach) should be. With Doutzen Kroes as the beautiful centerpiece of the scene, how could anyone not want to be living the life depicted? The clothes are almost secondary to that: simple cotton dresses and safari deep greens, khakis and leopard prints.

Doutzen’s tousled beach hair and bronzed makeup look offer up plenty of summer beauty inspiration.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
