Doutzen Kroes changes perspective for Elle Japan

Photos of bikini-clad models with their arms behind their heads and their knees in the sand are ten a penny. So common are they, that they’re a cliche and they’re usually awful. Not so with Doutzen Kroes’ Elle Japan cover, which doesn’t so much reinvent the idea as it does bring a better perspective to it.
