In shooting Andrej Pejic, Nicolas Guerin brings out one all-important thing; the thing most key to the model’s ongoing success. Well ok – two things, the first and most obvious being Pejic’s famously androgynous form of beauty.
The second is Pejic’s ability to do drama but in such a way that never feels like he’s taking himself too seriously. From Pejic’s numerous interviews with magazines and other media it’s clear that he has a sense of humour about the industry. Guerin’s beautifully shot black and white portraits have both drama and personality.
