The grass is always greener on the other side, or perhaps it is Nicolas Guerin‘s fantastic way of portraying a story that gets one ready to start seeking a great perhaps. It’s like the silence of your own universe gets to be disturbed by the loud music running their world, matching their heartbeats, controlling their emotions. There is no end to this illusion, not once you allow youself to be dragged deep in the fantasy.
A little bit raw and undisguised, wild and intense, the disrupted reflection of someone else’s reality hits hard, just like the morning after a ridiculous party. With Linda and Aykel tied up at its very core, the photo shoot rips a page from the grunge playbook, playing upon sheerness, ripped denim, black lingerie and plaid, flawlessly styled by Fleur Huynh Evans.
And then there’s of course more of its essence hiding in the smudged makeup created by Marie Nicolas, in the rough bangs and shaggy hairstyles envisioned by Sonia Duchaussoy, and the devil-may care attitude veiling everything in between the sultry dance moves, the blown off smoke and the stolen kisses.
