Somewhere in between Bridie’s hauntingly beautiful blue eyes, and Luca Meneghel‘s extraordinary ability to gift his photographs with infinite amounts of soul and substance, lies a story undreamed of that struggles to break the surface. A tale of innocence and saturated memories, of spaces that hold bits of life in the thick of their walls, a tale that speaks easily about remarkable beauty, the kind that otherwise would be difficult to put into words.
Emphasizing the atemporality of the misty photographs, Veronica Gelmetti’s delicate crop tops, layered gently on top of sheer shirts, against the bare skin, or underneath weightless coats, is the one element that ensures a compelling connection between present and past. The other element, taking the guise of a fluid pleated skirt, plays up the timeless femininity, gorgeously contrasted with wildly teased hair and barely there make-up by Sabine Gutwenger.
