The epitome of Old Hollywood glamour

In order for a photo story to gain depth and a real meaning, it needs more than the aftermath of a beautiful face merging together with a powerful vision. It also requires a soul, a link able to connect two worlds apart. Evoking the old Hollywood glamour of the 1940s and 1950s, Peter Coulson aligned it all in perfect harmony: Nicole Gregurek’s incredible grace as it reflected Peter Janson’s amazing Rutherglen home.

A 6 floors, 34 room Melbourne wonderland, decorated with furniture ranging from the Gilded Age to the 21st Century, the captain’s Rutherglen house provided both the history and the atmosphere that allowed Peter Coulson to put his imagination and creativity at work. The resulting photo shoot feels like a step back in time, glamorous and alluring, celebrating the authentic femininity and redefining the concept of fine art.

Featuring hair and make-up by Vicious Creative, the photographs were shot as part of an upcoming exhibition Peter Coulson is due to host in New York.

Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.
