You’d hardly believe such an entertaining, stellar-cast short film could be put together by a clothing brand, but then luxury basics label Co Collections happens to be a collaboration between a screenwriter and a film producer – so it’s no wonder they could tap the likes of Marisa Tomei and Elodie Bouchez on the shoulder. The two play a lesbian couple on the brink of separation in the fantastic and quirky short film She Said, She Said.

Next, a romantic short French film with adorable vintage styling, by director Stewart Maclennan; a 360 degree view of the By Misha fall 2013 presentation at New York fashion week, from hair to makeup to final results, courtesy filmmaker Enrique Vasquez; and a sexy, edgily-styled romp called Cheap Beer by Gastón Torres.

Finally, Helmut Roar, a two-part homage to Helmut Newton for They Roared Vintage: needless to say it’s filled with great vintage pieces in a surreal and sensual setting.

After the break: 5 fashion films to watch this weekend.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
