Reflecting from within, beauty is best captured as wrapped in natural light, with little to distract and less to cloud its powerful essence. Hiding beneath many faces and taking on a myriad of forms, it never ceases to amaze and excite, whether explored as to make a singular statement or joining forces with other ravishing measures. Thomas Babeau‘s bare-skinned series of portraits bears that same untamed glow.
Much like his past series of portraits inspired by fashion photographer Paolo Roversi, the editorial photographed for OOB Magazine beams with grace and an undiffused sense of ease. Everything appears to be touched by a striking simplicity only to come into sight complex and powerful. Introducing new models Daniella, Eloise, Eva, Katya and Stella, the shoot makes use of nudity as the ultimate form of art.
The striking facial expression are enhanced by the flawless make-up envisioned by artists Kasia Furtak and Stephanie Jacquet, along with the complementary hair-styles created by Raphael Mariage and Rima Serdouk.
