Forget minimalism for a second: sometimes there’s nothing quite like adorning your limbs with the comforting weight of baubles and chains. To have your digits dripping in rings. To leave virtually no bodypart unaccounted for in a quest for the kind of 70s glamour that can only be achieved by excessive accessorisation, not to mention lashings of lipstick and full, bouncy hair.
If ever you were unsure of what 2011′s mix of modern and retro should look like, here’s an opulent reminder from photographer Mariah Jelena and stylist Andrew Zumbo. Starring models Grace Moore and Emily Thomas it doesn’t leave a stone unturned in its quest for glam. And yet, it never goes over the top either.
