Name a pop cultural trend, an internet phenomena, anything of fleeting relevance, and there’s a good chance someone will work it into a fashion shoot. Remember Meisel’s Twitter shoot? Or Dis Magazine’s tribute to planking?
Interview Magazine had that eureka moment of realising no-one had really touched Grindr yet. So they decided to jump in and own it.
I don’t have much to add about the Grindr phenomenon, other than that Interview are simply cleverly tying in with something of timely relevance and dishing out some male eye candy at the same time. Sure to be a popular shoot. More here.
