There’s an undeniable romance in the notion of the relationship between artist and muse; of the muse’s power to inspire and captivate the imagination. Whether physical or not it’s always a romance of sorts – though in the case of Russh‘s painter-and-muse pictorial, staring Ieva Laguna and Tony Ward, we can conclude the relationship definitely hinges on the physical (whether real or imagined). Paint smeared bodies and tortured, almost violent, embraces ensue. Put on your smock, it’s an emotional ride – and if you can get past all the paint, the outfits are pretty neat too.
Bunny Ain’t No Kind Of Rider is the curious title of the shoot, which was photographed by Will Davidson and styled by Stevie Dance
