For many a photographer, travel isn’t just about hitting the tourist destinations. It’s about seeing every new landscape as an opportunity.
On a recent trip to the other side of his world, Akiss Paraskevopoulos saw Australia’s Blue Mountains – so named for the blue haze that seems to linger over them when viewed from a distance – as one of those such opportunities.
With fierce styling by Triann Marcs, like tribal elements and primitive furs, the vast Australian outback becomes some ancient scene.
Beautifully shot by Akiss with dramatic colouring and larger-than-life perspectives, you can view the full shoot at the gallery above.
