There are those times when describing an editorial as breathtakingly beautiful doesn’t seem to quite suffice in capturing all of its extraordinaire nature. Upon witnessing Benjamin Kanarek‘s incredible work, words fail to express its pulchritude. After all, when you have supermodel Dovile Virsilaite dressed up in some of the most exquisite Haute Couture spring /summer 2013 garments, the imagination does a better job in replacing words with a modern-day fantasy tale.
An ethereal white gown betraying Valentino’s irreproachable aesthetic, a yellow dream dress brimming with precious floral appliques wearing Giambattista Valli’s unmistakable signature and an Elie Saab lilac gown sparkling in hundreds of delicate embellishments are just a few of the otherworldly looks selected by stylist Vanessa Naudin, complemented with hair by Tie Toyama and make-up by Carole Lasnier.
More of the fantastic floral prints, soft pleats, sculptural shapes and sheer blocks contributed in translating Benjamin Kanarek’s vision closer to a pure sense of reality. Click on the thumbnails above for the complete editorial.
