We have already fallen in love with the concept of covering a bare body using nothing but a beautiful sketched design in what became one of our favourite campaigns of autumn 2013: FCUK’s “From Sketch To Store”. The unexpected collision of art and reality issued another mesmerizing aftermath in what is Luca Meneghel‘s delightful photo shoot employing Norma Nardi’s gorgeous couture inspired drawings.
In between playing paper-doll dress up in his past shoots and doing it so marvelously, and choosing to liberate the body from the weight of the garments while still creating a full fashion fantasy in today’s shoot, Luca Meneghel appears to have stumbled upon the secret of surpassing the limits of common creativity. Royal crowns, heavy crucifix jewelleries, trumpeted sleeves and drawn interpretations of intricate embroideries, all seem to be nodding towards the regal sub-theme suggested for fall 2013.
Complemented with barely there make-up and undone hairstyles inspired by the spring 2014 hair trends, Nasty Bugriy’s reflections into the mirror appear otherworldly.
