It’s a jungle out there: We Are Handsome

You couldn’t get a much better surrounding for We Are Handsome’s digital print swimwear than palms and ferns and bright orange crests of the bird of paradise flower.

Jean Baptiste Fort’s shoot gets the jungle glamour theme spot on. Model Magdalena is a wild-thing, chatoyant eye shining out from behind side-parted hair like a tigress peering through the leaves. In that, Daniel Rull’s hair and makeup couldn’t be more well suited.

With Elena Fort’s styling bringing the addition of exotic jewellery, Magdalena is part tigress, part modern day Jane Porter after she becomes an empowered adventuress in her own right. If it’s a jungle out there – even an artificial one – you’ll want to look the part.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
