They were perched on amplifiers in a concrete-floored warehouse space, but Jonathan Saunders’ autumn 2014 boys weren’t exactly the pinnacle of hard rock n roll. They were more an amalgam of 50s rockers and slicked-hair squares, dashing in slim cuts and bold prints as they were. The retro-infused colour palette took shape in graphic stripes, harlequin checks and patch work florals.
