Kasia Struss, denim eternal

Kasia Struss’ Vogue Mexico cover made double denim look surprisingly clean and fresh. The editorial inside the issue’s pages does much the same, Sarah Gore Reeves’ styling imagining different ways to create an entire outfit out of denim whilst keeping the concept far away from any nightmares of ’80s fashion faux pas. Shredded fringing on shorts is a little of an extreme take on the season’s ripped denim revival, but a denim bustier can do no wrong in our book.

Other denim styling notes to take away? Use denim to play with Western / cowgirl themes, or contrast the simplicity of a denim vest against something embellished and sparkling.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person.
