There’s nothing quite like serious fashion given a humorous spin. That’s what this is all about: the serious Lanvin brand given a spin, on the dancefloor no less.

Karen Elson and Raquel Zimmermann look a little like two teenagers dressed up in their mums’ clothing doing a home-made dance routine in front of a camera. Only far more stylish, of course. The stiff and stern nature of the male clothing only makes the whole thing twice as fun while the appearance of Alber Elbaz throwing in a few cameo moves of his own is pure gold.

Even if you think it silly, it’s hard not to find Lanvin’s fall 2011 video campaign a little catchy and charming. You can watch it below, and click on the thumbnails above for the campaign stills.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
