Sometimes fashion photography transcends the layer of superficiality, becoming a wider and louder expression of authenticity. Sometimes it is about the clothes, about capturing the naturalness of a certain feeling, at other times it is simply about clashing two worlds and capturing the immediate reaction.
Kristof Toth chose to enhance Annamaria Molnar’s unusual menswear designs by projecting their reflection against Budapest’s central architecture. Edgy and unsettling, the resulting photo shoot appears to establish a connection between rare shapes, textures and subdued colors.
