The varsity jacket has definitely made a huge impact for both the warm and cold seasons. In terms of making it a staple piece of fashion in winter 2012, even as the mercury drops to icy levels, there’s nothing to say you can’t layer it up. Just like this off duty model did in London:

A buttoned-up plaid shirt over a knit under a hoodie under a varsity jacket. The description reads like it could get messy, but even punked up with skinny jeans and boyish shoes, the look comes together quite neatly.
