Just when you thought there were no ways left for Marchesa to reinvent the breathtaking yet unique evening gown, we’re handed this collection on an ornate silver platter that came straight out of some exotic palace. The origami-like shapes found their way back in, while other pieces were beaded and draped like the processional garb of some ancient Empress. Odds are the red carpets will also be awash with the full lace one-pieces that brought the jumpsuit to a new level of formality and elegance.

I have no words for this. They never cease to set the bar higher and then they shatter it and set it even higher. A few of the designs remind me of 50's couture. This is just amazing.

Some of them stun me, until I scroll down and see the gathering around the ankles. Other than that, A good amount of these are fairly great. More artistic than wearable.

Some are really beautiful. others appear to be just for the wow effect and the ones gathered around the ankle that is just to tacky.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
