The Lady Godiva legend has her painted in our minds as graceful, proud and yet coy, cascades of long hair providing some semblance of modesty to her naked ride through Coventry. Tapping into that legend and our image of it are photographers Santiago and Maurizio Serra, creating this shoot and video of Marina Linchuk – donning capes, plunging necklines and other dramatic Gucci fare – for Interview Russia’s October 2012 issue.
As the magazine explains, Linchuk “appears as a seductive Lady Godiva in luxurious clothes by Gucci, and sometimes, following the classic story, without them”.
