Model Kel Markey off-duty in Milan

Kel Markey is one of those models that has a tomboyish effortlessness about her, and an easy-going personality to match. I was stalking her down Via Tortona (unintentional stalking; I just happened to be walking back from the Armani show) when I determined that my job for the day wasn’t done and I needed to take her photo. There’s something both schoolboyish and cool about the lace-up shoes and socks, about the ease of a classic white shirt with rolled-up sleeves. The idea of “off duty model” style encompasses alot, often ultra polished or ultra grungy, but Kel’s relaxed style is nothing if not her own.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
