While monochromatic can be considered safe it’s not necessarily cliche. There are several ways you can pull off a monochromatic look like this gorgeous off duty model who still looked sophisticated in her black and white get up.
The eighties is what we are reminded of as soon as we see her jacket, but despite this, it still gives off a contemporary vibe because of its asymmetrical front closure. Paired with shorts, it avoids looking dated and office-like. Another thing that keeps this look fresh? The shoes.
The choice of wearing sandals instead of closed shoes prevented the ensemble from being overwhelmingly eighties. Though in black, the clutch is also very interesting: it looks like a cross between a paper bag and an envelope adding more style to this monochrome outfit.
