You wouldn’t call Ola Rindal’s shoot for Purple Fashion glossy or over-produced. There’s no heavy-handed photoshopping or complex studio lighting. You might even call it raw and natural-feeling. But it’s not the kind or raw you’d most commonly associate with Purple Fashion because it’s not the Terry Richardson kind. It’s got a hint of sensuality, a dabble of nudity, yes – but it’s executed with a softness. It shows that Purple can do more with its subject matter than have them pose naked against a white wall.

Frida Gustavsson makes a particularly gorgeous appearance in the shoot, which is from Purple’s fall 2012 issue.
