Paris, je t’aime: stylespiration from Yo Dona

Interpreting how you wear trends is a very personal thing – spring 2013′s fashion trends being no exception – and yet we can all use some help and inspiration, particularly of the visual kind. This shoot by Benjamin Kanarek was created for specifically that purpose. Styled by Isabel Moralejo, it’s a crisp, clean dissection of some of spring’s key pieces and how they can be worn.

Saint Laurent’s big floppy hat and blazing bronze jacket are given a freshness meets modern boho feel that isn’t too stuck in the ’70s. Balmain’s black and white stripes find slickness with silver pumps, and there couldn’t be a fresher pairing for Rochas’ crop top and pleats than a slick chignon and white trainers.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
