PornORgraphy: Florin Dobre’s fall campaign

In a world that’s built upon the greatest expectations, and filled with preconceptions and misleading roads, loosing yourself to temptation and exploring your sexuality is part of the natural but controversial process that now sets the theme for Florin Dobre’s autumn / winter 2012/13 Campaign.

The Romanian designer unveiled an unprejudiced universe as the backdrop for his latest collection, meant to celebrate the evolution of the male sex-symbols through history. The devil-may-care attitude meets a seductive atmosphere and the familiar punk inserts in the latest campaign, shot by photographer Vali Barbulescu, as envisioned by Andreea Badescu.

It’s all about breaking the boundaries and making a statement, and Florin Dobre took a chance with his cohesive collection that featured BDSM influences, alongside fetish elements and leather accents. Florin Dobre’s starkly dramatic campaign represents a brilliant and original take on masculinity, highlighting a creative evolution that could not pass unnoticed. Regardless of the impression it will eventually leave on you, the collection will definitely mark a new spot on the unconventional fashion map.
