Saint Laurent wants your boy to kiss boys

“The most beautiful clothes that can dress a woman are the arms of the man she loves.” – Yves Saint Laurent.

Emmanuel Giraud and Paul Franco direct a video for the Saint Laurent of the current generation: young, gritty, sexy, carefree, tough. Somewhere along the line the meaning of luxury was reshaped and rewritten, and Saint Laurent under Hedi Slimane is at the fore. In Giraud & Franco’s video, Australian model Anja Konstantinova is perfectly cast for her edgy look and brimming sensuality, while Sylvester Henricksen Ulv plays her beautiful male love interest. This isn’t romance in so much as passion, raw and unadulterated and liberal; about doing whatever your heart desires at the time, and the filmmaking duo captures the mood perfectly in black and white.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
