The alchemy of two souls doesn’t know of time and space, of worlds that might come crashing down when finally tied together. It is mindless of reason and bounds, feeding upon beauty, not always giving back what it promises in the first place. When two opposites unite, secrets sealed with a blackened kiss are bound to be brought to life. Weronika Kosinska captured the entire metamorphosis for Cockaigne’s 4th issue.
With Samia and Bobi embodying the troubled souls gone grunge, the story begins to slowly unfold with the photo shoot translating to an entire spectrum of emotions. A state of happiness and tranquility seems evanescent as it only culminates in struggle and despair. Things fall apart and into place again and again.
Ripped denim and plaid shirts, topped off with black leather jackets and an entire string of complementing accessories go hand in hand with the story line and the display of conflicting emotions, as styled by Gosha Kusper and Just Stuglik.
Featuring hair by Radek Galinski and make-up by Lucyna Rossa, view the complete photo shoot at the gallery. For more of Weronika Kosinska’s beautiful work check her website at www.weronikakosinska.com.
