Whether you’re an instagram addict, or you love to get lost between the pages of a good book instead, having little to do with social media, a selfie must still strike you as a highly-familiar term. The Oxford dictionary has named it their Word of the Year for 2013, Karlie Kloss and Candice Swanepoel seemed eager to teach you how to take selfies like a supermodel, and thanks to Igor Oussenko, the art of selfies is now ready to enter high-fashion territory, with results that are equal parts strikingly beautiful and decidedly relatable.

And perhaps we can’t all look as fabulous as Kath Pokrovskaya does while taking a sultry selfie, wearing nothing but a lacy bra and a pair of red hot lips, but we can at least get inspired by her cool attitude and flawless series of poses that covers hotel hallways, luxe bedrooms and cozy bathtubs with the same nonchalance. Straight out provocative, with little more than a few hints of bare skin in sight, the portraits aren’t short of glamour either, considering the exquisite floral and sheer garments styled by Evgenia Ilina.
