Sexiness in strength: Amandine

Strength is sexiness, and sometimes what’s revealed by a pair of beautifully tailored pants, by a tiny anchor tattoo etched onto a delicate wrist, by a gaze beaming out from behind the curtain of a smokey, glitter covered lid, is more powerful than the naked body alone.

Of course, it depends on who’s wearing the pants, and who’s soul is shining out from under the hood. Amandine never looks sexier than with hands stuffed into pockets, breasts bared and perfect, hair falling in an ‘S’ shaped wave over one eye as if hinting subliminally at all the words you already knew applied to the picture: Strong. Sure. Sexy.

And it helps that Pierre Dal Corso is the one behind the lens directing the black and white portrait of uncompromising beauty. Dal Corso knows how to frame, when to show and when to hide, what to highlight and what to let soak into shadow.

And – with soft waves by Anais Lucas Sebagh and feature-flattering makeup by Caroline Fenouil – Amandine becomes the ideal muse. View the full shoot of Amandine by Pierre Dal Corso (pierredalcorso.com) for Fashionising.com by clicking on the gallery.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for Fashionising.com, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
