Fetishised sensuality gone rogue (NSFW)

It’s not about the desire to shock anymore, not since the bondage element has long morphed into a full statement of luxury, instead the modern fetishism is more about allowing sensuality to break new grounds, without fully abandoning the taste of forbiddance. Chokers, fishnets, thigh-high stockings and leather harnesses met Sidney Bristow’s androgynous beauty as photographed by Yves Kortum for Bambi Magazine, in a successful attempt to refine the ultimate form of roughness.

And while the sexually charged pieces worn as accessories are far from parting ways with the fashion industry, making something that’s long established thrilling again has everything to do with the attitude. Hauntingly beautiful, Sydney has the kind of perfectly classic features able to add a note of contrast to even the most eccentric of fashion expressions, a fine point fully explored by stylist Florence Abelin.

Wallace Woo chose to complement the eloquent bareness of the skin and the array of fetish garments with a super slick pixie cut, smoky eyes and nude lips.

Shaped by all things beautiful and feminine, Nicoleta Parascan’s first steps towards entering the captivating world of fashion were taken somewhere around the young age of six, when she received her very own first fashion magazine. Discovering an entirely new universe, filled with pretty ladies and beautiful clothes, there was not much able to ever beat or compete with the fantasy land that was suddenly opening up. Surrounded by books, constantly thinking about the next best outfit, in search of a signature style and defined by a nostalgic calling towards the past, Nicoleta believes in taking chances, in destiny and in building her own path in life. When she’s not writing, you can easily find her playing with her cat, reading an old book, watching movies, exploring the city or blogging her own daily adventures.
