Vogue Germany goes east with this very oriental inspired video that accompanies its stunning winter editorial for the December 2012 issue. Directed by Alexi Lubomirski, this video is called “So Fern, So Nah” which in German which actually means “So far away, so close”.
The video starts with Toni Garrn in praying position in the middle of a snowy forest while David Chiang is in a snowy studio set in black and white. It’s like they separated physically yet they are very much still connected spiritually and emotionally.
