Without them, I’m nothing? isn’t just an enjoyable watch, it’s a metaphorical quest for self; a search for the essence of a person. Filmmaker Boris Gorjan studies the concept of reaching a point of no return in life, and deciding whether to be or to have. Discarding what we have in order to be, as Gorjan’s model literally discards her clothes with a kind of liberating glee, means we can accept who we are and move forwards, “naked and unashamed”, as we are.
