Suburbs by Krisztian Kondor and David Nyiri

Literally speaking, suburbs are residential areas found out of the city, but over the years “the Suburbs” have taken on a different meaning and this photo shoot by Krisztian Kondor & David Nyiri captures this.

A lot of people consider suburbs to have the connotation of being boring and lifeless. In TV and film, they’re often depicted as places that are monotonous, that a lot of teenagers just want to get out of. In this photo shoot aptly entitled “Suburbs” we see this longing to break free, we see the quiet confusion that a stagnant lifestyle has brought about. The styling pays homage to the androgynous trend, not only do the clothes look stylish but they show us that this person is not your typical suburban dweller.

The suburbs may be boring to some but this photo shoot is far from it. It tells a story of a man who doesn’t want to be stuck in a rut. A man who’s willing to take a risk and go off into a bigger, more adventure filled world.
