In good company: announcing the Witchery Style Collective

I can think of worse things than getting to wear and photograph pieces from one of my favourite Australian high street labels while travelling the world’s fashion capitals. This season I’m fortunate to be part of Witchery Australia’s Style Collective: a group of bloggers bringing our personal takes on the season’s trends and sharing them through Witchery’s blog, The ‘W’ Edit.

And my job? To create a series of posts during my travels that (fingers crossed) inspire your summer dressing, be it through my own outfits or of those around me as I make my around the international fashion week circuit.

First up, a little guide to New York in which I do my take on sporty-chic, hide away in bookstores, and eat bucket-loads of sweets while wearing a crop top (maybe don’t try that one at home or abroad). Check it out here.

Some people's wardrobes are about a small selection of pieces that all fit within one aesthetic - Tania Braukamper isn't such a person. With a wardrobe that spans three different rooms, her approach to fashion is a mixture of current-season key pieces mixed with vintage finds she's sourced on innumerous shopping trips around the world's more cultured capitals. Despite a disparate approach to shopping, Tania is adamant that the key to mixing vintage with new season is to stick to key looks and colours that work for oneself. And it's a theory that she works into her writing for, where she serves as the publication's Editor.
